Innovation Hub Internship

Do you love radio, journalism, or being on the cutting edge of just about everything? Do you want to work on a small team where your opinions matter, but still get experience on a popular show? Do you want to actually get paid for your time? Well then, we’ve got an internship for you.

Innovation Hub, a national, hour-long radio program from WGBH and PRI is looking for an intern extraordinaire. The show explores new avenues in education, science, transportation, medicine, and more — Renaissance people welcome.

Main duties will include gathering tape, writing blog posts conducting research for interviews, writing promos, pitching story ideas, and other production duties. You’ll get an inside look at how a national radio show is made, from how we come up with ideas, to how we get our content out there.

We’re looking for someone who can commit to around twenty hours a week, starting in January and ending in June.

Just send in a resume, cover letter, and links to two examples of your writing to innovationhub@wgbh.org by Wednesday, December 2nd.

Benefits:

Youll be paid $10 an hour.

You will gain experience working in a large fast paced newsroom.
