Greetings from the Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy
Our Center is currently recruiting one or two unpaid communications interns for the spring semester starting now and for the summer as well. In fact, we anticipate needing one or two communications interns for every semester and every summer into the future. Course credit may be arranged for these internships.
The intern’s duties will provide them with hands on, real-world experience. Work includes:
- planning a strategy for our social media
- composing and posting Facebook posts and Tweets
- writing news stories for our website and newsletter
- helping to edit the newsletter
- writing for, updating, and helping to design pages of our website
- If interested, they may also help video production and editing.
Hours are flexible (min. 6 hours per week) and students may be able to do some of the work from home.
